TNC Springer Nature Overview: Subscriptions

This guide provides TNC researchers with information on the Springer Nature platform specific to TNC's subscription. It also helps users learn about platform features and functionality, and determine whether Springer Nature can aid in their research.

Subscription Summary

The TNC E-Collection provides users with access to Nature Complete, the SpringerLink Subject Collection, and SpringerLink's open access materials. See the sections below for details on each Springer Nature product included in the TNC E-Collection and scroll to the bottom of the page for title lists. 

Nature Complete

This platform provides access to Nature news and commentary as well as the Nature Portfolio publications, which include:  

  • The journal Nature  

  • 32 Nature research journals covering the physical, clinical, life, and social sciences 

  • 20 Nature Reviews titles 

  • 40 academic and society journals published in collaboration with Springer Nature 

  • Open access content featured in Nature Communications and Scientific Reports

Complimentary Resources

Springer Nature also includes over 8,000 journals and more than 1800 e-books that are open access or free-to-read. These materials that are available to users regardless of their subscriptions. Open access resources are available into perpetuity while free-to-read materials are accessible on a temporary basis. Key subject areas include:
