Breeding in Managed Care

Adapts well to managed care and has been bred repeatedly.
Walsrode Bird Park's first successful breeding took place in 1981, where two chicks were hand-reared by humans.
Oklahoma City Zoo fist bred and hand-raised two chicks in 1987.
